On my shoulders
I carry my traumas
In a backpack
Overloading me
Overloading my body
Overloading my mind
Overloading my soul
Through the streets
I carry them
overloading
On the road
I carry them
overloading
in the train
I carry them
overloading
Even at the beach
I carry them
overloading
But when I step into the water
I take off the backpack
and simply walk
freely
The burden is unloaded
The lungs breathe freely
The shoulders stretch back
The pain flows away
and the heart begins to open...
